Marine Corps Poolees Meet Drill Instructors

In the time between when a potential recruit signs his or her contract with the United States Marine Corps and the time that they leave for Boot camp, they are considered a poolee.

As such, they will attend functions such as shown in the video to give them an idea of what they can expect as a marine recruit.

I attended a few of these with Holly before she left for Parris Island.

I went to Family night before my son left for boot camp. It’s very worthwhile for all who can attend. (I have two Marines)I too took a video of the poolies getting “drilled” by the Drill Instructor.
